WOODMERE, Ohio Restaurants continue to find themselves short-staffed, a new problem that many have had to deal with since asking employees to leave when the COVID-19 pandemic first started.
“I couldn’t believe things were going to actually close. VERMILION TOWNSHIP, Ohio A 7-year-old boy was flown to a hospital in Cleveland after he was struck by a car Thursday evening while riding his bicycle alongside a highway in Erie County.
The State Highway Patrol says7 the boy was riding his bike on the shoulder of U.S. 6 at about 7:44 p.m. A babysitter was walking behind the boy and pushing a stroller.
The boy’s bicycle went completely into the westbound lane of the highway and was hit by a car driven by a 17-year-old from Fairview Park, the patrol says. The driver of the car hit the brakes and swerved but was unable to avoid the boy, according to the patrol.
