If I look at a list of my top 5 achievements, someone near the top is “stuck hand through fence at the Newcastle Entertainment Centre and got hand signed by Kings of Leon”. What a night. I managed to get to a few Kings of Leon tour dates back in the 00s I think we’re at 7 and counting and let me tell you, they are always a good time. But for 10 long years they have ignored our beautiful country and it’s saddened my soul. Which is why today’s news that Kings of Leon have announced a 2022 Australian tour is the Friday vibe we all need.

The NRL is investigating four Gold Coast Titans players who were allegedly playing the pokies in a Sydney pub without masks.
Among the group was New Zealand international and club co-captain Kevin Proctor, Gold Coast coach Justin Holbrook confirmed.
He said the hard-running second-rower and three of his teammates were cooperating with the NRL probe as they prepare for Saturday s clash with the Canberra Raiders at Jubilee Oval in Kogarah.

The NRL is investigating claims Kevin Proctor and three Titans teammates breached the biosecurity restrictions which were brought in after this week s COVID-19 lockdown in South-East Queensland.
Gold Coast coach Justin Holbrook on Friday confirmed the club was working with the NRL on whether Proctor and three teammates were in a Sydney pub without a mask.
The Titans relocated to Sydney during the week to prepare for Saturday night s clash with Canberra which is now the second match of the Kogarah double-header after originally being slated to be played on the Gold Coast.
Holbrook said the players were mainly in the outdoor area of a pub.
