An inquest has opened into the “violent death” of a woman found stabbed multiple times in the neck just hours after her husband fell to his death from a multi-storey car park. The body of 57-year-old Kerry Bradford was discovered last month at her home in Monnow Way in Bettws, Newport, where she lived with her support worker husband Nicholas Bradford.
A woman was found stabbed to death at her home just hours after her husband plunged 100ft from a car park, an inquest heard today.
Kerry Bradford, 57, was found dead at her home in Monnow Way in Bettws, Newport, Wales, by police with multiple stab wounds to the neck on April 25.
About 90 minutes earlier, officers had been called to the Kingsway multi-storey car park in Newport, Gwent, which lies just three miles away, following reports that a man had fallen.
The man, who was pronounced dead at the scene, was later identified as Mrs Bradford s 57-year-old husband Nicholas Bradford.
His death was not treated as suspicious although Gwent Police described the incidents as linked.
