Black Death Trotting on ‘The Devil s Hoof’
The Great Plague lasted from the beginning of 1665 until September 1666, representing the last major epidemic of the bubonic plague to occur in England, killing an estimated 200,000 (one quarter of London s population). Fatalities soared in the city of London in part because Londoners failed to self-quarantine, but this was not the case in the rural English village of Eyam located idyllically in the Derbyshire Dales within the Peak District National Park.

Californian wine co acquires Rabble wine brand 6th January, 2021 by Patrick Schmitt
Fast-expanding Californian wine company O’Neill Vintners & Distillers has bought the Rabble wine brand from Paso Robles-based vineyard manager Rob Murray for an undisclosed sum, it was announced yesterday.
Rob Murray’s Rabble wine range has been bought by O’Neill Vintners
Rabble was created by Murray in 2010 as a brand designed to appeal to a younger generation of wine consumers with bright, interactive labels featuring ancient battles inspired by scenes of destruction from the Nuremberg Chronicle of the 1400s.
Murray also employed augmented reality technology in the wine labelling, bringing to life the sieges featured on the labels with movement and sound effects.
