AEW EVP Cody Rhodes was on a media call today ahead of
Double or Nothing and spoke on a variety of topics. Wrestling Inc. Managing Editor Nick Hausman asked Rhodes about how some fans view Anthony Ogogo as the babyface going into their
Double or Nothing match due to the content of their politically charged promos. Rhodes addressed his recent promo on AEW
Dynamite that set up their match.
“I very much am proud to be an American. We have tons of problems here, which is the first thing I said when I started speaking,” Rhodes noted. “We have tons of problems, but I still genuinely believe hope outweighs. I’m not trying to mansplain racism to anyone. All I was trying to say is that I’m proud of my wife. I’m proud of the city I’m in, and I’m proud of this baby girl that’s on the way. When it comes to Anthony’s opinions on the United States, those are his opinions.

Former WCW and WWE Tag Team Champion Chuck Palumbo was on a recent episode of
The Wrestling Inc. Daily. Wrestling Inc. Managing Editor Nick Hausman asked Paulmbo what he has been up to in his post-wrestling life.
“I do everything from home renovations to home flips to the car building and the motorcycle building,” Palumbo said. “So I work with my hands a lot, in the trades. If I’m not working in the shop on a project, then I’m working on a property. Chuck of All Trades on YouTube, that’s my little baby. That’s my little project. It’s just simple, raw. It just captures me and what I do on a daily basis. Right now, the project I’m working on is a home restoration from a home here in San Diego, built in 1924.
During his recent appearance on
The Wrestling Inc. Daily, ROH star EC3 reflected on his run with WWE NXT.
When asked by Wrestling Inc. Managing Editor Nick Hausman to explain why he wasn’t given “a stronger push” during his stint with the Black and Gold brand, EC3 replied, “I think it’s because I wasn’t supposed to be there for too long.”
Shortly after his WWE release in April 2020, EC3 began releasing the “Control Your Narrative” videos on his YouTube channel. When asked to delve into his thought process behind the concept, EC3 said he wanted to provide himself a platform to reclaim his true self after WWE fans saw a watered down version of EC3.

Mr. T’s wrestling days are long behind him, but the former
A-Team star still sees remnants of his era in the business today.
Speaking with Wrestling Inc. Managing Editor Nick Hausman on a recent edition of the
Wrestling Inc. Daily, Mr. T mentioned how cool it has been to see sons and daughters of friends from his WWF tenure competing today.
“When I first heard the name [Randy Orton], I was like, ‘Man, I wonder if that’s Cowboy Orton’s son.’ And it was!” Mr. T said. “I said, ‘Oh man, this is wild.’ Watching him has just been really amazing. Thinking about how far we’ve come, all the way from Madison Square Garden to here. I’ve seen the new guys and stuff like that. I would think, ‘Man, I know this guy’ because I know his father, and stuff like that. Even with The Rock, I remember his father Rocky Johnson. Man, it’s just amazing. Now you look at the Nature Boy, Ric Flair, his daughter. It’s just special.”
