Two-time WWE Hall of Famer and 16-time world champion “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair returned to
The Wrestling Inc. Daily as part of a celebration of his 72nd birthday week. Wrestling Inc. Managing Editor Nick Hausman pointed out that John Cena is tied with Flair at 16 world championships a piece. Randy Orton is close behind them with 14 world titles and Hausman asked Flair who he would like to see break his record.
“I think every record’s meant to be broken, number one,” Flair noted. “I couldn’t be prouder. I think the world of them both. To be honest with you, I would like to see my daughter break it. Randy Orton has expressed the sentiment to me too. Who knows? It’s funny because I would love to see Randy break it. John, I certainly wouldn’t be opposed to John breaking it, but I think the person that breaks it needs to be a full-time performer, just because I think it’s better for the company, not that it matters who the individual is.

The Wrestling Inc. Daily to discuss his career in WWE. According to Carlito, he first got on WWE’s radar when he was competing at his father’s Puerto Rican promotion, World Wrestling Council.
“Probably when I was wrestling for my dad’s promotion in Puerto Rico,” Carlito said. “I had been there for about four or five years. Wrestling Inc. Daily recently to discuss this new era of ROH, noting it’s an unfamiliar feeling due to the pandemic and lack of fans.
“It’s the first time, definitely,” King said. “You know, hearing music, you hit the stage, you look out and normally where there’s a reaction, there’s nobody. There’s places where if you’ve been wrestling a long time, or you’re in a match, you know, if I hit a nice move I’m looking for a reaction, and crickets, right?”

Speaking with Wrestling Inc. Managing Editor Nick Hausman on the
Wrestling Inc. Daily, Flair says he felt the Deadman carried the load in their Mania bout.
“Mark carried me, but we did have a hell of a match,” Flair said. “I eventually got comfortable, and that turned out to be a hell of a match. I think everyone liked it. I mean, once again I’m like 59 in 2008, so in 2002 I’m what, 54? I don’t know. But we did have a hell of a match, it was just great. Once again, Mark carried me.”
