Mike Bennett On Maria Possibly Returning To ROH, Adam Cole Joining The Dark Side
On a recent episode of
The Wrestling Inc. Daily, Matt Taven and Mike Bennett of The OGK returned to the podcast to chat with Wrestling Inc. Managing Editor Nick Hausman about reuniting as a tag team after Bennett returned to ROH. With Bennett’s return to ROH and the return of the original Kingdom, Hausman asked Bennett if fans can expect Maria to return to the group as well.
“Maria, I’ll never say no because she’s my wife, so if she ever wants to come back, she’s always more than willing to. The Kingdom’s just as much her as it was me, and Matt and [Adam] Cole,” Bennett noted. “The door’s always open for her. I will say this about Maria though, she’s very, as most people know, she’s very methodical. She’s very methodical in her decisions.
Jamie Iovine On Becoming A Promoter And The Need To Save The Independent Scene
NTWRK co-founder Jamie Iovine was on today’s episode of
The Wrestling Inc. Daily where he and Wrestling Inc. Managing Editor Nick Hausman discussed Iovine’s Prochella pro wrestling show that was recently postponed. Iovine first discussed why he wanted to be a pro wrestling promoter.
“My dream was always to be a wrestler. That was the dream from the beginning, and as I told you, at the time when I was doing music or when I was doing my other jobs, I didn’t have a way to do that,” Iovine admitted. “I didn’t know how to get into a wrestling school. I didn’t know where to go to do these things. Now there are schools everywhere. Everybody has a school, and I’ve been actively training and trying to become an in-ring competitor myself.

Sam Adonis Opens Up About Becoming Amazon Driver Due To Lost Work During Pandemic
On a recent episode of
The Wrestling Inc. Daily, former CMLL star Sam Adonis was on the podcast where he chatted with Wrestling Inc. Managing Editor Nick Hausman about the new series that he features in “Heroes of Lucha Libre”. Adonis also opened up about the state of the indies especially as the United States as seen a sharp rise in COVID-19 cases during the winter.
“It’s absolutely heartbreaking and really sad for me. This is the first time in my life that I don’t feel like I’m in control of my destiny,” Adonis admitted. “I’ve been very blessed and lucky. At 21, I signed with WWE. Then I worked in England for four years, and Mexico for two years [and did] many tours Japan. I’ve always kind of been planting seeds for six months from now.
