TAMPA, FL Albany Road Real Estate Partners has purchased Center Point Business Park, a 146,229-square-foot industrial/flex property in the East Tampa submarket, for $19,805,000. Birtcher Anderson Realty, LLC, an affiliate of San Juan Capistrano, CA-based Birtcher Anderson & Davis Associates sold the property, which is located at 1907-1911 U.S. Highway 301 N in Tampa.
Ryan Vaught, Robyn Hurrell and Oliver de la Croix-Vaubois of Colliers International represented the seller. The buyer, which also purchased a six-building flex/office park a few miles north of Center Point Business Park earlier this year, was self-represented.

International Investors Have Sights Set on U.S. Multifamily Deals The money from overseas spent on U.S. apartment buildings is likely to increase in 2021, once several working vaccines against the coronavirus are widely distributed and it is easier to travel.
New foreign investors are investing in apartment properties in the U.S. even if they can’t easily get on a plane to visit buildings they are interested in.

It’s been a tough year for some sectors of Houston’s economy, but commercial real estate experts say that there has been one significant bright spot: life sciences.
Despite the coronavirus pandemic, plenty of money is flowing into the sector, spurring many of Houston’s life sciences firms to expand and seek larger spaces. That remains a challenge in the short term, as the city lacks speculative lab space, and several major life sciences-focused developments have not yet reached completion.
“They re all having a problem with growth. I think our biggest issue is that we don t have enough supply for them,” Transwestern Executive Managing Director, National Healthcare Advisory Services Eric Johnson said.
