Philippine investigators have sought criminal charges against a former executive of the German payment company Wirecard AG in connection with a financial scandal that led to the firm's collapse last year, the justice department said on Friday.

Long time Beesley Animal Foundation Executive Director Amanda Oliver has passed away.
The foundation oversees the Beesley Animal Clinic, which first opened in Murfreesboro in 1992. The non-profit is primarily a spay neuter clinic that is dedicated to decreasing the suffering caused by pet overpopulation.
Oliver has led the Beesley Animal Foundation since 2003.
