AccessAbility portrays 26 individuals from various backgrounds and walks of life. 26 people whose hopes, desires, and dreams are shared with the visitors of this exhibition. 26 portrayals of people who have different types of disability but who represent themselves, not their disability. Through their voices it becomes obvious that impairment does not determine who you are.
In the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, ’Leave no one behind’ is a central promise. This promise is a prerequisite and goal that means that each UN member state must work on closing the gaps of inequality by fighting discrimination with policies and incorporating accessibility in everyday life. We need to recognize that all individuals can contribute to a more diverse and equal society.

The steamed dragon roll was invented in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). It s said that at that time chefs were ordered to create a dish that was made of meat but didn t look like meat－they solved that challenge by using pork fat, fish meat and lean pork to mix with eggs and flour to make rolls to steam.
The dish is one of the signature dishes of Zhongxiang in Central China s Hubei province, which is 33-year-old freelance photographer Cao Shuai s hometown.

Having been a visitor to the Bazaar Jewelry International Designer Salon for years, jewelry designer Wang Shenglin attended the event this year in another capacity-as an exhibitor.
Along with 11 other alumni from the jewelry training center of the Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, the 27-year-old brought his modern feather-inlaid jewelry collection to the exhibition at the Shanghai Powerlong Museum on Dec 10.
