Main Purpose of Job
The Internal Auditor reports to the Audit Manager and is responsible for the execution of internal audit engagements. The incumbent will be responsible for performing the entire audit process by planning, executing and reporting internal auditing activities. All audit work must conform to the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing
Assist the Audit & Risk Manager in maintaining effective and efficient controls by evaluating the controls in place to mitigate risk and develop recommendations for enhanced improvement.

Olga Weider appointed as university assistant vice president and treasurer
Olga Weider has been selected to serve the Finance and Accounting division as the first female Assistant Vice President and University Controller at the University of Florida.
Olga joined the University Finance and Accounting division in 2017 as an Assistant Controller with auxiliary accounting. Under her leadership, the auxiliary team expanded its services, acting in an advisory capacity to auxiliaries and service centers across campus on procedural and compliance matters and collaborating with units to ensure good stewardship of the University’s resources. She was promoted to a Senior Associate Controller, leading payroll and tax services, general accounting and financial reporting, and auxiliary accounting, providing core financial services to the University of Florida community.
LAS CRUCES – William Beerman, a former newspaperman and certified internal auditor who hails from Pittsburgh and served the Las Cruces Capital Improvements Advisory Committee for several years, is seeking Yvonne Flores District 6 seat on the Las Cruces City Council.
The district includes Sonoma Ranch and much of Las Cruces south of U.S. Highway 70 and east of Interstate 25.
On his campaign website, which prominently displays the slogan Beer Man for Council Man, Beerman calls himself a competent, compassionate conservative and writes that he decided to run because he opposed alleged corruption within the city he saw reported in local media.
