University of Child Health Sciences set up July 28, 2021 LAHORE:The Punjab government has established University of Child Health Sciences, Lahore, with immediate effect. The SHC&MED, Punjab, upon approval by the chief minister Punjab, issued a notification in this regard on Tuesday. According to the notification, the newly-established university would function under the provisions of the University of Child Health Sciences, Lahore Act 2021. All properties, rights and interests of whatever kind used, enjoyed, possessed, owned or vested in or held in trust by or for the Children Hospital, Institute of Child Health, Lahore and all liabilities legally subsisting against that institution would stand transferred to the university under Section 3 (5) of the Act.
