Higher Edu Deptt signs MoU with ICSI for up-skilling of J&K youth
14 agreements made with different institutions till date

JAMMU, Jan 19: In yet another major initiative, the Department of Higher Education has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) for up-skilling of students.
Commissioner Secretary, Higher Education Department Talat Parvez, while highlighting the significance of the MoU, informed that the department has taken various initiatives to ensure that the workforce of tomorrow has future ready skills, adding “the youth need to be motivated to develop a quality of self development and self entrepreneurship”.

Institute of Company Secretaries of India, ICSI has released CSEET January, CS Foundation Results today, January 18, 2021. The result is available on the official site of ICSI on
icsi.edu. The result for both the exams have been released and the mark sheet has also been uploaded on the official website.
CS Foundation 2020 was conducted in two shifts on December 26, 27, 2021. ICSI CSEET 2021 was held on January 9 and 10, 2021.

Vice-President M. Venkaiah Naidu on January 18 suggested all corporates to encourage whistle-blowing mechanism and provide adequate safeguards for the protection of whistle-blowers.
“I would like to suggest all corporates to consciously encourage whistle-blowing mechanism and provide adequate safeguards for the protection of the whistle- blowers,” he said.
Mr. Naidu, who was delivering the Convocation address at the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), stressed on upholding the principles of transparency, integrity and honesty at all times and reflecting them in every business activity.
The modern day company secretary is a true guide of the corporates, protecting the interests of all stakeholders, and more importantly, ensuring adherence to the laws of the land in letter and spirit, he said.
