HIS FORAY IN NIGERIAN CUSTOMS SERVICE Dikko joined the Nigerian Customs Service in 1988. Throughout this time, he served at various customs commands, such as Seme Border, Tincan Island Port, Apapa, all in Lagos; Imo Command, Kaduna Command, Investigation and Inspection Headquarters, Abuja, before he was appointed as Comptroller-General in 2009. Yar’Adua Appointed Dikko and Jonathan worked with him all through The late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua was the one who appointed him the number one customs officer in the country. When Yar’Adua died in 2010, Goodluck Jonathan, his then deputy, made some changes in the government but he did not remove Dikko from office.

Before the new appointment, she was the Chief Executive Officer of Agusto & Co, Nigeria’s foremost Credit Rating Agency, a position she held for over a decade, until December 2019. Shobo has extensive experience as well as macro knowledge of the industry. Agusto & Co successfully rated a diverse range of transactions under her leadership, including most of Nigeria’s leading domestic and international banks, notable corporates, subnational governments, and significant debt capital issues.

Stanbic IBTC announces key executive appointments

TODAY February 8, 2021 Stanbic IBTC Holdings PLC said it had made major executive appointments across its units in an attempt to bolster its status as a market leader in the Nigerian financial services industry. The holdco, a member of Standard Bank Group headquartered in Johannesburg, disclosed in a press statement obtained by newsmen that the appointments conformed to its corporate governance structure and succession plan and came into effect on February 2 after securing regulatory go-aheads. The new appointments will see Eric Fajemisin, the erstwhile Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers chief, take the position of executive director, corporate and transactional banking at Stanbic IBTC Bank PLC.

ANOH Gas Processing Company (AGPC) Limited is a midstream gas company committed to processing Gas from OML 53 for distribution to the local market. By this appointment, Mba joins the Board of AGPC. Also appointed to the AGPC Board are Dr. Chioma Nwachuku, Seplat’s General Manager, External Affairs and Communications, and Rose N. Eshiett, Group General Manager Finance at the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).
