Expert Panel to begin Kashmir hospitals visit from Aug 7 Expert Panel to begin Kashmir hospitals visit from Aug 7 Irfan Tramboo SRINAGAR, July 27: A 5-day visit of the Expert Committee formed on the directions of the High Court is all set to commence from August-7 during which the Panel will visit hospitals across Kashmir division to assess the availability of the healthcare facilities. During the visit, the Committee will be examining the healthcare facilities available in terms of infrastructure, human resources and equipment in various healthcare facilities in Kashmir valley. The expert panel will also look into the facilities available with various departments in the hospitals across the Valley. The Panel has also been tasked to look for the shortcomings, if any, and make recommendations for fulfilling the same.

State of the art library at VIMSAR taking shape Post News Network Sambalpur: A state of the art library will be established at VSS Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR) at Burla in this district which will have the facilities for 350 persons to study at one time, a report said. This has been announced by the state government as it has sanctioned Rs 16.44 crore for construction of the new library. This was stated here by Professor Dr Lalit Meher, director of VIMSAR. Meher said the state of the art library will be a six-storied building having the facilities of a lift. It will be constructed on the basis of an ultramodern design and model. The library will also have the facilities of a canteen where 250 people can have their food at a time.

Las víctimas mortales aumentaron a 420 mil 551 con los 535 fallecimientos reportados el sábado, declaró el Ministerio de Salud y Bienestar Familiar. Por otro lado, los casos activos de la infección bajaron a 408 mil 212, mientras ascendieron a 30 millones 543 mil 138 las personas curadas de la enfermedad contagiosa, para una tasa de recuperación de pacientes dl 97,36 por ciento.
