Banjul Accord Group Accident Investigation Agency (BAGAIA) in collaboration with Institute for the Prevention and Investigation of Aeronautical and Maritime Accidents (IPIAAM) has commenced training of 24 participants in basic aircraft accident investigation Participants from the Cabo Verde, Portugal, Ghana, Guinea Conakry and others were part of those represented in the training consummating BAGAIA’s plan of seeking massive capacity building in the region with an emphasis on training younger ones to learn from experience. The training programme holding from May 17th to 25th, 2021, at the Pestana Tropico Hotel, Cidade da Praia, Cabo Verde, would look at diverse areas including Investigative Reasoning, Conducting an Investigation and On Scene Management.
