ATLANTA, March 1, 2021 /PRNewswire/ Genuine Parts Company (NYSE: GPC) announced today that its Board of Directors has appointed Napoleon B. Rutledge, Jr, Senior Vice President of Finance, to the additional role of Chief Accounting Officer of the Company. In his expanded role, Mr. Rutledge will be responsible for the Company s corporate finance and accounting, including its regulatory accounting matters, financial reporting, financial planning and analysis and accounting policies.

Stengel to the position of President of Genuine Parts Company. Mr. Stengel, 43, was previously Executive Vice President and Chief Transformation Officer of the Company and becomes only the eighth President in the Company s 93-year history. He will continue to report to Paul Donahue, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
