The health department says Florida residents 65 and older and frontline healthcare workers can enter their information on that website and will be contacted when doses are available at state-run vaccination sites in their area. (For example, Hard Rock Stadium and Marlins Park in South Florida.)
Broward County announced that it will also be using the same state pre-registration system for its vaccine sites.
Residents “will be contacted by phone call, text or email and will be assisted in scheduling an appointment,” the state says.
Florida had given 40,965 doses of COVID-19 vaccine to non-residents despite limited supplies before limiting doses to residents and health care workers on Thursday.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell announced today that the NFL is inviting approximately 7,500 vaccinated health care workers to Super Bowl LV as guests of the NFL to thank and honor them for their continued extraordinary service during the pandemic.
The majority of these health care workers all of whom will have received both doses of the vaccine will come from hospitals and health care systems in the Tampa and central Florida area. They will receive free Super Bowl tickets and gameday experiences directly from the NFL. All 32 NFL clubs will select vaccinated health care workers from their communities to attend the Super Bowl in Tampa Bay on Sunday, Feb 7.

Most of those workers will come from hospitals around the Tampa Bay and Central Florida areas. In fact, Commissioner Roger Goodell crashed a Zoom meeting for staff at Sarasota Memorial Hospital to make the announcement. You re the first ones to get that offer. we can t thank you enough, and we hope that this. will be a small way to celebrate you, honor you, and most importantly thank you, Goodell said.
