Vodafone Idea (VI) lost 2.65 million subscribers in October that dropped its wireless user base from 295.49 million in September to 292.83 million in October, according to the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI). TRAI s latest telecom subscription report says Bharti Airtel pipped Reliance Jio by adding over 3.67 million new wireless subscribers in the same month.
While Airtel added 1.45 million more subscribers than Reliance Jio which added 2.22 million wireless subscribers in October, Airtel, with 96.74 per cent active subscribers on its network, dominated in terms of the active user base. State-run Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL
