Atal Dulloo for effective implementation of 5-pronged strategy to fight Covid

Share Jammu: With an aim to tackle the recent upsurge of Covid 19, Financial Commissioner, Health and Medical Education, Atal Dulloo today impressed upon the officers for effective implementation of the 5-pronged strategy in J&K which includes testing, containment, isolation & treatment, Covid appropriate behaviour and vaccination. He made these remarks during a review meeting at Civil Secretariat here to analyse district wise Covid-19 scenario and the implementation of 5-pronged strategy to tackle the upsurge. The FC directed the concerned officers to expedite the testing and vaccination drive, study the increase of the test positivity rate and take remedial measures accordingly.

Hopitals facing medical oxygen shortage can call 104: TN government April 24, 2021 Oxygen manufactures in the state are instructed to explore ways to increase production Hospitals/nursing homes in Tamil Nadu facing any shortage of medical oxygen may immediately call 104 for assistance. This will be a 24×7 call centre under the State Drug Controller to resolve any issues they may have on shortage of medical oxygen, says a government press release. The State government is taking various measures to control the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic. The demand for medical oxygen from Covid-19 treatment facilities such as hospitals/nursing homes is expected with continuous surge in cases.

As per DCO, surprise inspections of Retail Sale Outlets particularly, situated in far flung/remote areas were carried out by the concerned Drugs Control Officers under the supervision of respective Assistant Drugs Controller in Jammu Province under the overall the authority of State Drugs Controller, Lotika Khajuria to ensure availability of quality drugs to the end users. The operation of 6 units were disallowed in Jammu, 6 in Samba, 2 in Kathua, 6 in Kishtwar, 4 in Udhampur and 12 in Ramban district.

Surprise inspections of retail sale outlets, particularly situated in far-flung and remote areas, were carried out by the concerned drugs control officers under the overall authority of State Drugs Controller, Lotika Khajuria, to ensure availability of quality drugs to end users, they said.
