It drives economic development and tourism, and it shapes our present and can be used to define the future in a way that is most beneficial for all New Mexicans. May 10 through June 10, the New Mexico Historic Preservation Division (NMHPD), a division of the New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs (NMDCA), will conduct an online survey seeking opinions from state residents about the future of historic preservation in relation to diversity, environmental sustainability, and economic benefits, as well as the type of work the Division should prioritize.
