The Long Prairie drive-in theater announced they ll be opening for the season early this year! Thanks to the great weather we ve been having, they re hoping to open the first weekend in April.unless Old Man Winter does something crazy.
That s great news! Assemble your squad and get ready to catch a few flicks under the stars at The Long Drive In.
So far, they re not really sure what movies they will be showing yet. According to their Facebook announcement, the movie schedule from the studios is still shifting around right now but we will know more about what s available the closer we get to opening and will be sharing those trailers over the next few weekends.

While standing by the performance stage at Lake George, Mayor Kleis quoted Don Mcclean, I know this was going to be the long hall the day the music died. Music brings communities together, and that is the focus of the upcoming Granite City Days at the end of June.

The town festival is going to be new and improved and feature music in many different ways. There will be a music contest, the parade will be music-focused, the opening ceremony will have music, and they will be seeking community members to provide music for the festival in general.
