Driver in Manchester found with hard drugs and infant unbuckled

A Browns Mills man is sitting in the Ocean County Jail following his arrest in Manchester where police found him with a stash of drugs ready to be sold while an infant child was in the back seat of his vehicle. Police found the infant in the car as well, who wasn t fastened in a child safety seat. Then officers found Troy was in possession of approximately 13.5 grams of crack cocaine, 8 grams of methamphetamine and 10 doses of heroin, all packaged for distribution.

Toms River man causes three-car accident after running red light

Get our free mobile app Police said that Jeffrey Loffredo, 25 of Toms River, was driving on Bay Avenue when he ran the red light and then collided with a Honda HRV driven by Jeffrey Edgar, 51 of Toms River, who was driving up Vaughn Avenue through a green light. The collision caused by Loffredo caused Edgar s vehicle to flip onto its side and then crash into another vehicle, which was driven by Donald O’Brien, 51 of Toms River, who was stopped on Vaughn Avenue as the light had turned red. East Dover Fire Department and Toms River Fire Department crews responded to the scene and extricated Edgar from his vehicle who received treatment on scene from Toms River EMS and Robert Wood Johnson MICU before being transported by EMS to Skyview Park Landing Zone where he was Medevaced to Jersey Shore Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.
