It’s a powerful thing to see someone’s dignity restored, says local ecowarrior Maria Grewar, who this week received accolades for her community recycling initiative, The Re-Trade Project.
Grewar received the 2021 best community recycling initiative award from the national polyethylene terephthalate (Pet) Extended Producer Responsibility body, Petco.
