The Hillcrest Town Council s (HTC) next virual community meeting will be held Tuesday, April 13 at 6:30 pm. The 2019-20 state budget was enacted in June 2019. “When it is completed, the new classroom building will accomplish an important campus goal to modernize our teaching facilities, and will enhance the educational experience for a large number of our students,” said Susannah Scott, distinguished professor of chemical engineering and of chemistry and biochemistry. “Faculty are looking forward to the opportunity to deliver high quality instruction in a state-of-the-art building, and to engage with our students in the personalized ways that make a UC Santa Barbara education unique, said Scott, who chairs the Academic Senate.
