Hickory Man Charged With Being No-Show In Court To Answer To Multiple Allegations

49-year-old Wilfred Greg Earls of Bowman Lowman Avenue in Hickory was arrested this morning (March 10) by Long View Police Officers. He’s charged with failure to appear on counts of second-degree burglary, larceny after breaking and entering, habitual felon, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Earls was placed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $76,000 bond. A District Court appearance is scheduled for March 22, and a Superior Court date is April 12.

28-year-old Joshua Blake Salyards of 1st Avenue SW in Hickory was arrested Tuesday (February 23) by Long View Police Officers. He’s charged with felony habitual larceny and misdemeanor second-degree trespass. Salyards was confined in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $8,000 bond. A District Court appearance was scheduled today (February 24).

30-year-old Chelsea Renee Peterson of Smithfield Drive NW in Conover was arrested by Long View Police Officers. She’s charged with possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia. Peterson is also charged with failure to appear on two counts of misdemeanor larceny and one count of felony probation violation. She was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility this morning (February 19) under $19,000 bond. District Court appearances were scheduled today and for March 1. A Superior Court date is set for April 22.
