A woman in India who appears to have been catfished by someone pretending to be Prince Harry launched a legal bid against the prince for not honouring a promise she alleges he made to marry her.

Petitioner Palwinder Kaur claims she has been involved with an email exchange with Prince Harry; although Punjab and Haryana High Court court reckon it s most likely a scammer working from a cyber café in the country.

But Kaur is adamant she s been speaking to the legit Duke of Sussex, who is currently expecting his second child with wife Meghan. So much so, she attempted to file an arrest warrant so that the pair could get hitched as soon as possible.
Justice Arvind Singh Sangwan dismissed Kaur’s plea calling her claims “nothing but just a daydreamer’s fantasy about marrying Prince Harry,” according to the Independent. The court claimed the person actually pretending to be Prince Harry was running a catfishing scheme out of an internet café in the northern Punjab state, the outlet reported.
This isn’t the first time a random person has thought that a celebrity was actually talking to them on the internet. Some woman in Texas attempted to sue Brad Pitt for $100,000 after she claimed he discussed marriage with her and owed her money.
I’ll never understand how these people can be so gullible. Prince Harry has made major headlines in the last year between stepping away from the royal family and the tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey. You’d be absolutely mad to think he would be speaking to you over social media.

A woman claiming to be Prince Harry s fiancee has sought a legal action against him. Palwinder Kaur, who believed that she was engaged to the husband of
Meghan Markle, reportedly called for his arrest for breaking an alleged promise to marry her.
The Indian lawyer, as per Independent report, claimed that the Duke of Sussex has contacted her on social media, telling her that he wanted to make her his wife. Upon learning he did not fulfill his promise, she filed a plea in Haryana High Court, asking the court to instruct the United Kingdom Police Cell to arrest him so they can tie the knot without any further delay.

Chandigarh [India]: The Punjab and Haryana High Court has dismissed a plea of a woman seeking action against Prince Harry of the United Kingdom for breaking a promise to marry her while observing that the petition was just day-dreamer s fantasy about marrying Prince Harry .
Justice Arvind Singh Sangwan noted that there was a possibility that the woman might have had a conversation with fake ids created on social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, other platforms and such conversation cannot be relied upon by the Court.
