HENRY COUNTY, Tenn. A Henry County man is in custody following an investigation involving multiple law enforcement agencies.
Investigators say James Lee Payne II, 37, and another individual were arrested in East Tennessee, according to a news release. Payne is believed to have ties to a gang operating in Henry County, the release says.
Through the investigation, officers found about 12 pounds of methamphetamine, about two pounds of fentanyl, almost seven pounds of marijuana, LSD, a shotgun, five vehicles, and about $15,700.
Investigators believe the methamphetamine and fentanyl found in East Tennessee were destined for Henry County, the release says.
A 53-year-old Flippin woman faces half a dozen felony drug and gun charges after law enforcement officers reported finding methamphetamine, hydrocodone and a defaced handgun in the travel trailer where was staying, according to an affidavit and a press release from Marion County Sheriff Clinton Evans
David Alkire, an investigator with the 14th Judicial District Drug Task Force wrote in the affidavit that he was notified Jana Brigman was selling drugs at her Trailwood Terrace residence.
Members of the task force, the sheriff s office, the Flippin Police Department and the Fugitive Apprehension Team of the Arkansas Department of Community Corrections went to Brigman s home March 2.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – David Clay Fowlkes, acting United States attorney for the Western District of Arkansas, announces 40-year-old Nicolas Brown of Springdale was sentenced Tuesday to 84 months in federal prison followed by three years of supervised release for one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm. The Honorable Timothy L. Brooks presided over the sentencing hearing in the United States District Court in Fayetteville.According to court records on June 15, 2020, detectives with the 4th Judicial District Drug Task Force along with Springdale police officers executed a search warrant at a residence that Brown had been residing in. During the search, officers located and seized a handgun, a rifle (reported stolen) and a shot gun (reported stolen), several rounds of ammunition, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Brown was taken into custody without incident.
