Image Source: IANS News New Delhi, Feb 4 : The Supreme Court on Friday will hear a plea by comedian Munawar Faruqui against the Madhya Pradesh High Court order, refusing to grant him bail in a case where he allegedly hurt religious sentiments. A bench comprising Justices Rohinton Fali Nariman and B.R. Gavai will consider the appeal filed by Faruqui challenging the high court s January 28 order. The high court had observed that after taking into consideration the material seized and the statements of the witnesses along with the on-going investigation in the matter, no case is made out for grant of bail.
