SRINAGAR: The Srinagar Smart City Limited (SSCL) Sunday convened a marathon meeting of heads of concerned government departments to discuss the projects approved under the Smart City project in Srinagar and to discuss and deliberate over new project proposals submitted to it by different departments and agencies for approval. LAWDA conducts demolition drive, warns against illegal constructions

SRINAGAR: In continuation to its demolition drive, the Enforcement Wing of Lakes and Waterways Development Authority (LAWDA) today demolished several illegal constructions in Khushipora Teilbal, Bagh-i-Roop Singh Miskeen Bagh, Lone Mohalla Nowpora and Lal Bazar. During the drive one block, one single storey house, two plinth blocks and one second single storey, that were raised illegally in the prohibited areas were demolished / removed on the spot. Meanwhile, people residing within the LDA jurisdiction & in lake are hereby once again directed not to go for any sort of illegal constructions / encroachments, as the Enforcement wing will continue with demolition of illegal constructions/ removal of encroachments.
