HYANNIS, MA Two Cape Cod health organizations were awarded a total of $245,000 in grants from the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts Foundation to continue their efforts to promote and expand access to health care for low-income residents. The grants were awarded to the Community Action Committee of Cape Cod and Islands ($45,000) in Hyannis and Bay Cove Human Services ($200,000). The Cape Cod grantees are two of 64 organizations receiving grants from the Blue Cross Blue Shield Of Massachusetts Foundation for their work in making healthcare accessible and affordable and responding to community needs during the COVID-19 pandemic.
