The Charlottesville restaurant is celebrating its 18 year anniversary with an exclusive package filled with goodies. The package is $100 and includes a shrimp salad sandwich, bread from Albemarle Baking Company and more. A portion of the funds will support the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank. “After 18 years Mas has become a staple of the community and this was one way in which, while things are still not quite what we would like it to be, a little bit of a way that we can give back to the community,” Mas Manager Giles Flowers said.

3 months ago in Local fwilt Photo: Saga Communications 12/22/20 Harrisonburg City Public Schools is partnering with the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank tomorrow evening to deliver boxes of food to less fortunate children and their families. Executive Director of School Nutrition Andrea Early explains that it will be a little different because instead of the usual school meal, there will be plenty of produce and non-perishable items to be handed out. The delivery will take place at all Harrisonburg Public School sites tomorrow evening from 5-6:30 or while supplies last. Tags: News
