The Kansas Bureau of Investigation says 62-year-old Blaine Dryden, of WaKenney, was arrested Wednesday on a warrant charging him with aggravated internet trading of child pornography and several counts of sexual exploitation of a child. Investigators say the alleged crimes occurred between November 2019 and last June, while Dryden was a lieutenant with the Ellis County Sheriff’s Office. Dryden was placed on administrative leave when the department learned of the investigation, and his employment with the office ended in July. Dryden is being held in the Graham County Jail on $750,000 bond.

WAXAHACHIE, Texas The Houston Police Department arrested a man wanted for a homicide that occurred last month in Ennis, officials said.
Around 8 a.m. Thursday, Houston police took Trenton James Adams into custody. He faces a murder charge in the death of Jordan Von Hoffman.
The Ellis County Sheriff s Office found Hoffman s body on March 24 in the 6900 block Ensign Road in Ennis. His death was ruled as a homicide by the Dallas County Medical Examiner s Office.

Authorities arrested a man in connection with a body found last month in Ennis.
Officials arrested Trenton James Adams, 28, Thursday morning in the death of 29-year-old Jordan Von Hoffman, the Ellis County Sheriff’s Office said.
Adams was arrested in an apartment in Houston about 8 a.m. Thursday, the sheriff’s office said.
He was taken to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office and will later be transported to the Ellis County Jail. Adams will face a murder charge in Hoffman’s death, officials said.

It’s been two weeks since Ellis County authorities discovered the body of 29 year old Jordan Van Hoffman in Ennis, TX. But two weeks feels like a lifetime for the friends and family of Hoffman, while the suspect, Trenton James Adams aka Trenton Hector remained at large.
This morning authorities announced the suspect, Trenton Adams, was arrested at an apartment in Houston. Adams was taken to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office and will later be transported to the Ellis County Jail in Waxahachie. Officials say Adams will face a murder charge in Hoffman’s death.
