A statement issued online by Consumer Protection Authority said : The Consumer Protection Department in Al Dakhiliya Governorate imposed two administrative violations on two commercial establishments for displaying expired goods, during the periodic inspection visits that the authority conducts in various markets, shops and commercial centers with the aim of monitoring and organizing them and ensuring that suppliers comply with the laws and decisions issued in this regard. The facts of the first violation are summarized in the seizure of an expired non-medicinal commodity in a pharmacy, which is in violation of the Consumer Protection Law, and accordingly the administration took the necessary measures against it and issued an administrative violation of OMR 500.
