PATHUM THANI: Consumer officials found a large quantity of falsely labelled monosodium glutamate products, soap and other consumer goods when they searched a factory in Lam Luk Ka district on Tuesday.
Officers of the Consumer Protection Police Division and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) had raided premises at Orrada Factory Land following complaints it produced falsely packaged monosodium glutamate, dish washing liquid and other products, Pol Maj Gen Wiwat Chaisangkha, deputy chief of the Central Investigation Bureau, told reporters on Tuesday.

PATHUM THANI: About 37 tonnes of used rubber gloves being washed and packed for resale were seized and a woman arrested when police raided a warehouse in Lat Lum Kaeo district.
A team from the Consumer Protection Police Division, armed with a search warrant issued by Pathum Thani Provincial Court, searched the warehouse in Lat Lum Kaeo on Wednesday.

Embattled emcee Patcharasri Kalamae Benjamas has quit hosting two popular TV shows after responding to charges about allegations that she exaggerated the benefits of her food supplement product.
The charges were lodged against her with the Consumer Protection Police Division (CPPD) by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
She finally met police on Monday after failing to comply with a prior summons.
According to the CPPD, Ms Patcharasri faces three charges. The first two include exaggerating her claims and advertising without permission, under the 1979 Food and Drugs Act, it said.

Authorities have seized unregistered skin-whitening cream worth over 500,000 baht from four factories during raids in four provinces.
Officers from the Consumer Protection Police Division and Food and Drug Administration officials on Thursday raided the factories in Chachoengsao, Sa Kaeo, Chon Buri and Ayutthaya provinces following social media advertisements that the Cambodian cream with red cover could whiten the skin within seven days no matter how dark the skin was.
