PUTRAJAYA: A proposal to allow dine-in at restaurants is being reviewed by the National Security Council (NSC), say sources.
The proposal, along with a number of standard operating procedures, was submitted by the Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry on Sunday.
The issue was discussed at the NSC special meeting chaired by Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin yesterday.
Sources with knowledge on the matter said the ministry had brought the matter for the NSC’s consideration following pleas by restaurant and food outlet owners.
