Gateway Regional, Mohawk Trail regional high schools receive portion of $3 million rural school aid grant

Schools in all four counties of Western Massachusetts will receive about $1 million in additional funding through a rural school aid grant program.
State Sen. Adam G. Hinds, D-Pittsfield, on Monday presented Gateway Regional High School in Huntington with $223, 213 and Mohawk Trail Regional High School in Shelburne Falls with $192,644 in funding as part of $3 million allocated to the Rural School Aid grant program in the fiscal 2020 state budget.
