Over in Region 12, flood-control structures alone incurred P162.32 million in damages. Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark A. Villar said that 270 equipment assets and 1,569 workers were deployed to conduct massive clearing activities. Villar also bared that clearing operations have been launched at three impassable national road sections in the provinces of Cebu, Eastern Samar, and Agusan del Sur.
