The second season of Snowpiercer is almost here. The dystopian thriller will finally arrive on Netflix in the coming weeks and will see Oscar winner Jennifer Connelly and Hamilton star Daveed Diggs return as Melanie Cavill and Andre Layton, respectively.
The first run ended with the train witnessing a bloody revolution as Andre has seized control of the train.
Elsewhere, Melanie herself was left in a dangerous situation as her lies were exposed, and her life placed in grave peril. However, in a double-whammy, Melanie will be reunited with her long-lost teenage daughter Alexandra (Rowan Blanchard), as well as the legendary Mr Wilford, played by Sean Bean.
Bridgerton season two is officially on its way, as the show has been renewed by Netflix.
Even better, the new season will start filming in the spring, and focus on Anthony Bridgerton’s quest to wife up.
“The ton are abuzz with the latest gossip, and so it is my honour to impart to you: Bridgerton shall officially return for a second season. I do hope you have stored a bottle of ratafia for this most delightful occasion,” Netflix (channelling Lady Whistledown) told Radio Times.
“This author has been reliably informed that Lord Anthony Bridgerton intends to dominate the social season. I will have my pen to report on any and all of his romantic activities.
