NDCS: Inmate hospitalized after being assaulted by 2 other inmates at TSCI Share Updated: 6:12 PM CDT Apr 3, 2021 KETV Staff Report Share Updated: 6:12 PM CDT Apr 3, 2021 KETV Staff Report An investigation is underway after an inmate was assaulted and transported to a hospital, according to a news release from the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services.The NDCS said two inmates assaulted another at the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution.According to the NDCS, the incident happened around 11 a.m. Saturday in an outside yard.The NDCS said the person who was injured had cuts and puncture wounds on his arms and torso. In the news release, the NDCS said homemade weapons were recovered by staff members. The NDCS has not identified any of the inmates involved in the incident.
