PM Modi to inaugurate key development projects in TN, Puducherry
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday will visit Puducherry to inaugurate several development projects. PM Modi will lay the foundation stone for 4 landing of NH45-A - 56 km Sattanathapuram - Nagapattinam package of Villupuram to Nagapattinam project covering Karaikal district in Puducherry at around 11:30 am in the morning, as per an official release. He will also lay the foundation stone of the Medical College Building at Karaikal New Campus- Phase I, Karaikal District (JIPMER). PM Modi will also visit Tamil Nadu on Thursday and will dedicate to the nation the Neyveli New Thermal Power Project and several other projects.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a visit to Tamil Nadu and the Union Territory of Puducherry today. Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for major development projects in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry during his visit.
Prime Minister Modi will launch multiple projects at a cost of Rs 12,400 crore in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. PM Modi will enter Puducherry at 11, where he will lay the foundation stone of the four-lane NH 45. From Sattanath Puram to Nagapattinam, this highway will be 56 km. Along with this, the foundation stone of Minor Port would also be laid under the Sagarmala scheme.

Chennai: Political fever has gathered steam in Tamil Nadu as the Congress party appointed former Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and Randeep Surjewala to negotiate seat-sharing with DMK in the poll-bound state. Congress president Sonia Gandhi has appointed Oman Chandy and Randeep Surjewala to negotiate seat-sharing with DMK in Tamil Nadu, news agency ANI reported citing sources.
The two leaders are slated to reach Chennai on Wednesday. It is learnt that there will be talks with DMK on Thursday morning. Prior to that, the leaders will meet party leaders in Chennai, sources told the agency.
