CARSON CITY, Nev. - Drivers on Nevada highways will see new creative safety messages on electronic freeway signs that were the result of a Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) contest in 2020. They received almost 1,000 entries. All of the submissions were evaluated and the top 11 were put out to the public for voting. These three were submitted by Nevadans and are a mix of popular national driving safety messages and original messages: That’s The Temperature, Not the Speed Limit Camp In The Mountains, Not the Left Lane Turn Signals Come Free with Vehicles. Use Them.
