According to officials, Oli also addressed the National Assembly on Sunday. In his address, Oli spoke on current issues of Nepal.
This comes after Nepal President Bidya Devi Bhandari dissolved the Lower House on Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli`s recommendation on December 20.
After dissolving the Parliament, Oli also proposed elections on April 30 and May 10, 2021.

Citing the Press Adviser to Prime Minister Oli, Surya Thapa, Khabarhub reported that the Olu in his address will speak on current issues of the country. This statement comes after Nepal President Bidya Devi Bhandari dissolved the Lower House on Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli s recommendation on December 20. After dissolving the Parliament, Nepal PM also proposed elections on April 30 and May 10, 2021.
However, this would be PM Oli’s first appearance in the parliament after the dissolution. Nepal PM, upon facing minority within the ruling Nepal Communist Party, had dissolved the House on December 20 after months of intra-party dispute.

The demonstration mobilization committee led by Spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha will announce the second phase of protest programs amid a press meeting at 3 pm on Saturday, Khabarhub quoted Himal Sharma, Nepal Communist Party s leader as saying.
This comes after Nepal President Bidya Devi Bhandari dissolved the Lower House on Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli s recommendation on December 20. The move has invited 12 petitions in the country s apex court, claiming it to be unconstitutional , including one by Prachanda.
