Time is running short for homebuyers in England to save up to £15,000 on stamp duty. When lockdown restrictions were eased last July, the Government raised the exemption threshold for the tax on the purchase price of properties from £125,000 to £500,000. The reform was intended to boost the house market and the overall economy of the country although reports of sellers pushing up prices deflated initial excitement somewhat. Unless the current stamp duty concession is extended beyond March, previous rates will be reintroduced from the beginning of April. As a result, mortgage advisers, estate agents, conveyancers and other professionals engaged in house purchase are working flat out to help buyers complete their purchase before the March 31 deadline.

Captain’s Log. The
Enterprise has arrived at the Remmler Array for a maintenance procedure known as a baryon sweep it basically wipes away all the space gunk that’s accumulated over five years. Because the sweep is fatal to all organic matter, we open with the ship in a massive flurry of activity as folks prepare to evacuate. After Picard puts out some organizational fires stasis units for Crusher, opening a transporter for Troi to aid in evac, etc. he shares a turbolift with Data, who fills the silence with non-relevant conversation. Voyager will fight the Vaskan war on the Kyrians.
Voyager will wage their war in exchange for access to a wormhole that will get them home. Janeway’s uniform is absent any rank insignia, her hairdo is different, and she is incredibly violent-minded.
Janeway goes to the bridge and orders the use of biogenic weapons. Neelix in a Starfleet uniform and serving at ops reports that the Kyrians are attacking. A smiling Tuvok arms the biogenic weapons provided by the doctor, who is an android hooked directly up to the ship’s computer.

Voyager finds itself proximate to a firefight, though they can only detect the results of the weapons fire, not the actual battle itself. Seven theorizes that the combatants are cloaked, which proves to be the case when one ship blows up the other one.
The surviving ship’s occupant is a woman named Kellin, who contacts
Voyager and asks for Chakotay by name. They can’t get a transporter lock on her, and so Chakotay leads a team over to the ship. He rescues Kellin from being stuck under fallen debris and then transports back to

U.S.S. Defiant and Odo learns who his people are. In addition, the Dominion threat hangs over the entire season, seen more overtly in “The Abandoned,” “Heart of Stone,” “The Die is Cast,” and “The Adversary.”
