Share Fully vaccinated fans no longer required to wear masks at Mariners games at T-Mobile Park This change takes effect at tonight’s game against the Detroit Tigers; maskless fans may be asked to produce proof of vaccination 7:18 PM UTC share-square-3547925 Beginning today, fully vaccinated fans attending Seattle Mariners games at T-Mobile Park are no longer required to wear masks. This change brings ballpark protocols into alignment with recently announced Centers for Disease Control and state of Washington guidelines for fully vaccinated individuals. The wristband verifies that they are permitted to go mask-free while in the ballpark.

Seating expansion, vaccinated sections another milestone on return to normal

Seating expansion, vaccinated sections another ‘milestone’ on return to normal Share this story It’s another small step towards a return to normalcy in the region. The Seattle Sounders on Tuesday announced that they will expand seating and open vaccinated sections starting on May 23, when Atlanta United visits Lumen Field. In partnership with Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, Sounders FC to introduce vaccinated sections at Lumen Field beginning May 23

As permitted by regional health authorities, including Public Health – Seattle & King County and the Washington State Department of Health, Seattle Sounders FC is preparing to introduce vaccinated sections at Lumen Field beginning with the club’s May 23 match against Atlanta United. Partnering with Virginia Mason Franciscan Health on this initiative, today’s announcement moves Sounders FC’s matchday closer to a traditional experience, as these new sections are being sold at 100 percent capacity. With all individuals being fully vaccinated, attendees in these sections can stand side-by-side with fellow Sounders FC fans in the comfort of knowing that everyone is fully vaccinated and verified accordingly. Beginning May 23, fans who attend matches at Lumen Field in these sections are still required to wear masks and to provide valid documentation of their vaccination.
