ICPC urged to investigate Examination Scandal in NECO
A media organization, Signature TV has called on the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) to probe some staff of the National Examination Council (NECO) for engaging in examination scandals at a centre in Kaduna State.
The call was made by the Chief Executive Officer of Signature TV, Mr. Vinmartin Obiora Ilo, during the unveiling of Corruption Tori Season Two in Abuja, recently.
Mr. Ilo in his remark at the event explained that in one of its investigative reportage, it uncovered how some NECO officials colluded with prospective candidates to undermine the integrity of their examination.

The Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN) has secured the endorsement of the Ministry of Information and Culture for its plan to launch a national unity campaign on 1 October. This was disclosed in a release signed by its Publicity Secretary, Mrs. Temitope Jemerigbe.
Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai According to the release, the endorsement was given in Lagos yesterday by the Minister of Information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, during a meeting with AAANâs Executive Board.
The release quoted AAAN President, Mr. Steve Babaeko, as saying that the purpose of the meeting was to push for better cooperation with the ministry. He also noted that the decision to launch the national unity campaign was informed by the current situation in the country. Responding, Mohammed described the proposed campaign as a very âvery patriotic moveâ.
It was a well-deserved month long celebration. Even though he was to turn 50 on June 20, notable movie director and producer Lancelot Oduwa Imaseun locked down the first three weeks of June to mark his attaining the golden age.

The Chief Executive Officer of the station, Mr Vinmartin Ilo, stated this during the inauguration of a TV show, Corruption Tori Season Two, in Abuja.
A statement on Thursday said Corruption Tori is an anti-corruption programme supported by the MacArthur Foundation and aired on the network services of the African Independent Television and the Nigerian Television Authority to cause attitudinal change and make Nigerians demand accountability and transparency from leaders.
