How five of us regained freedom -Abducted Kaduna student Published 11:04 am One of the kidnapped students of the 39 abducted students of the Federal College of Forestry Mechanization Mando in Igabi Local Government Area, Francis Paul, has narrated how five of them regained freedom. Paul, a 200 level undergraduate of Agricultural Technology of the college, also narrated their ordeal in the kidnappers’ den. On Thursday night, March 11, 2021, the bandits in large numbers invaded the school located opposite the Nigerian Defence Academy along the Kaduna International Airport road and abducted 39 students. Some of the students were in a viral video released by the bandits on Saturday after their abduction, in their night wears.

Five abducted Kaduna students freed, 34 still held -Official Published 6:35 pm Five abducted students of the Federal College of Forestry Mechanization, Mando in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State, have regained freedom. The state Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Mr. Samuel Aruwan, announced this on Monday. Aruwan said the five students are currently undergoing medical check-up at an undisclosed military facility in the state. The Commissioner in a statement titled, ‘Five of the kidnapped students of Federal College of Forestry Mechanization recovered…Undergoing thorough medical check-up at a military facility’. “The Nigerian military has informed the Kaduna State Government that five of the many kidnapped students of the Federal College of Forestry Mechanization, Afaka, Kaduna were recovered this afternoon and are presently in a military facility where they are undergoing a thorough medical check-up.
