Seplat trains 143 teachers, inspectors in education delivery The Punch Published 24 March 2021 Seplat has through its Seplat Teachers Empowerment Programme boosted the capacity of 143 teachers comprising of 100 secondary school teachers and 43 Chief Inspectors of Education from Edo and Delta states. The STEP initiative, according to a statement issued by the oil firm and titled ‘Seplat drives quality education in Nigeria,’ is an educational programme created by the Seplat Petroleum Development Company Plc and its partners, the Nigerian Petroleum Development Company, to improve the country’s standard of education, particularly in host states. The statement explained that the company had made significant impacts with critical initiatives focused on providing quality education for states where it operates and the country.
