On Tuesday, the Kaduna government declared Comrade Ayuba Wabba, NLC president, and some labour leaders wanted over the effect of the strike on the economy.
El-Rufai later likened the protesters in his state to bandits and vowed that their action would not make his government reverse its decision.
Some protesters were also attacked by hired thugs.
In a statement, the National President of the NUPENG, Williams Akporeha, said the union which is one of the 46 bodies affiliated with the NLC, is observing the Kaduna situation closely.
He said if the attacks on protesters continue, NUPENG would withdraw its services nationwide.

The President of the Nigerian Labour Congress, NLC, Ayuba Wabba, yesterday dared Governor Nasir el-Rufai to come and arrest him and other other labour leaders after the governor declared the NLC president and other labour leaders wanted for alleged economic sabotage.
The governor also placed unspecified bounty on the labour leaders.
This came as armed thugs attacked labour leaders and workers and disrupted Tuesday’s protest by NLC leaders and aggrieved worker as part of ongoing five -day strike against wKaduna State government over perceived anti-workers policies including the recent sack of about 7000 workers including teachers.

The Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers said on Tuesday that it might declare a nationwide industrial action following the ongoing face-off between the Nigeria Labour Congress and the Kaduna State Government.
NUPENG, in a statement jointly signed by its National President, Williams Akporeha, and General Secretary, Afolabi Olawale, told its members to be on red alert over the attack on NLC peaceful protest in Kaduna State.
NUPENG warned that if any harm was inflicted on any of the members of the organised labour, the leadership of the union would not hesitate to call on all its members throughout the nation for a total shut down of all services in the upstream, mid-stream and downstream sectors of the oil and gas industry.
