Britt Baker Injured On AEW Dynamite Fyter Fest Night 2

(Photo Credit: AEW) AEW Women’s World Champion Britt Baker is currently suffering from an injury, but will not take any time away from the ring. Wednesday’s Fyter Fest Night 2 edition of AEW Dynamite on TNT saw Baker retain her title over Nyla Rose, in her first successful title defense since winning the strap from Hikaru Shida at Double Or Nothing on May 30. In an update, Baker attended Friday’s Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship event in Tampa to watch the Paige VanZant vs. Rachael Ostovich fight, which Ostovich has just won. She posted a photo with VanZant, and revealed that she suffered a broken right wrist during the match with Rose. She also said she will not take any time.

According to her, she is taking no time off.  She shared a photo Friday as she was backstage at the Paige VanZant vs. Rachael Ostovich Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship event in Tampa, Florida, announcing the injury. Baker is on an eight-match singles win streak since losing an unsanctioned lights out match to Thunder Rosa. She ended Hikaru Shida s year-long reign at May s Double or Nothing with the Rose win as her first successful title defense.

Due to the successful ratings, TNT issued the below press release: TNT’s  AEW: DYNAMITE continues domination as Wednesday’s #1 cable program in P18-49 for the second week in a row. See highlights below: AEW: Dynamite Year-to-date,  Night two of FYTER FEST was the strongest premiere for AEW this year in P18-49.
